Terms and conditions

Version [1.0] · in force from October 2026

These terms apply to every course and service Quirk Academy offers. By enrolling a child, you confirm that you are the child's parent or legal guardian, that you are at least 18 and that you accept these terms together with the course details of the course you choose.

1. Who we are

Quirk Academy, [legal form] registered in Casablanca, Morocco. ICE [number] · RC [number] · IF [number] · [address], Casablanca · [contact email] · WhatsApp [number].

In these terms, "we" means Quirk Academy and "you" means the parent or guardian who enrols the child.

2. Courses and course details

We offer educational courses for children and young people, which may be live group sessions online or in person, self-paced courses or special classes.

Each course has its own course details, shown on its page on our website and repeated in your enrolment confirmation. They state:

  • what the course covers and who it is for, including any age or school year

  • its format: live sessions, self-paced content or both

  • the number and length of sessions, or the length of access

  • the schedule, where there is one

  • the price

  • how long your session credits or access remain valid

The course details form part of your agreement with us. Where they differ from these terms, the course details apply to that course.

3. Enrolment

  1. You choose a course and reserve a place through our website.

  2. We send you the payment details, the amount, a payment reference and the deadline for payment.

  3. If we do not receive payment by the deadline, the reservation is cancelled.

  4. Once we receive payment, we confirm the enrolment and send you an invoice and the course details.

Your agreement with us starts when we confirm your payment.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in Moroccan dirhams and do not include VAT, which is added to your invoice at the applicable rate. The price that applies is the one shown when you reserve. We may change prices for future enrolments; this never affects a course you have already paid for. Payment methods are listed when you reserve, and payments are made to Quirk Academy's account only.

5. Sessions, credits and access

  • For courses with live sessions, each session your child attends uses one session credit. Your credits remain valid for the period in the course details.

  • Where topics repeat, you can book a missed topic in a later session while your credits are valid. Choosing the right session is your responsibility. If your child joins a session on a topic they have already covered, we will tell you, and if your child stays, the session uses a credit.

  • For self-paced courses, your child has access for the period in the course details.

  • Credits and access that are not used in time expire. They cannot be refunded or transferred to another child.

6. Right of withdrawal

Under Law 31-08 on consumer protection, you may withdraw from an enrolment within 7 days of its confirmation, without giving a reason, and receive a full refund within 30 days by bank transfer.

If you ask for the course to start during those 7 days, for example by your child attending a session or opening self-paced content, you agree that the service has started and you lose the right of withdrawal from that point, as Law 31-08 allows.

To withdraw, send us a message by email or WhatsApp stating your name, your child's nickname and your payment reference.

7. Cancellation after the withdrawal period

After the withdrawal period, payments are not refunded. Unused credits and access remain valid until they expire under section 5.

8. Changes by us

  • We may change the time or teacher of a session, with at least 48 hours' notice.

  • If we cancel a session, or a session fails because of a technical problem on our side, the credit is returned to you.

  • We may change, replace or stop offering courses. A change never reduces what you have already paid for. If we can no longer deliver a course you have paid for, we offer you an equivalent course or refund the part not yet delivered, as you prefer.

9. Live sessions

  • A parent or another adult must be reachable while the child is in a session.

  • Children are expected to be respectful to the teacher and to each other. If a child repeatedly disrupts a session, we will talk to you first, and we may ask the child to leave the course. In that case, we refund the part not yet delivered.

  • No one may record, photograph or share any part of a session. Quirk Academy does not record sessions.

  • For online sessions, your child needs a suitable device with a camera, a stable internet connection and a quiet place to work. A session missed because of a problem on your side uses a credit.

10. Wellbeing and other non-academic courses

Some of our courses deal with wellbeing, such as stress, sleep, focus and mindfulness. These courses are educational. They are not therapy, medical advice or a diagnosis, and they do not replace care from a health professional. Their minimum age is stated in the course details and is never below 12.

If your child is in danger. Our courses are not an emergency service. If your child is at risk of harming themselves or is in immediate danger, call 19 (police) or 15 (ambulance), or 112 from a mobile, or go to the nearest hospital emergency department. In Morocco, children and young people can also call the free and confidential 2511 helpline (0800002511, every day from 9:00 to 16:00). Outside Morocco, contact your local emergency services.

11. Course materials

Lessons, exercises and all course materials belong to Quirk Academy. They are for your enrolled child's personal use only and may not be copied, shared, sold or used to teach others.

12. Progress and results

Where a course includes progress updates, we share them to help you follow your child's learning. Progress depends on many factors, including attendance and practice, so we cannot guarantee specific marks or exam results.
